I had two ideas but I think one of them works better than the other. My first Idea was to introduce a champion from League of Legends, specifically Teemo and animate parts of his gameplay in a narrative way. I felt that he was gimmicky enough to have enough content to animate but the problem would be how I would integrate it as a daydream. My second idea is doing a dream rendition of the superstition of sleeping with a book under a pillow. This idea follows the prompt better so I think it would also be more simple to animate. I settled on making the dream on H. P. Lovecraft's The Picture in the House. The general story is about a man who enters an ”abandoned” house during a rainstorm and finds a book in an antiquated room. The book covers someone’s journey through the Congo region. An engraving on one of the pages depicts a butcher shop selling human body parts. An old man then comes into the room, greets the main character and starts talking about the book. He shows a lot of fascination towards the engraving. Eventually a drop of liquid falls on the book and the main character looks up to find the ceiling is red. My storyboard for this is quite straightforward but it might take a lot of time to animate. In the meantime I still need to figure out what art style I want to depict the animations in. This idea felt more complete so I think I will stick with it.
